Super Mario Bros. Underground Alternate Soundtrack

Composition of an alternate soundtrack for the Super Mario Bros. underground level. This was made for the 3rd Alternative Soundtrack - music jam https://itch.io/jam/alternative-soundtrack-music-jam-3

This was really hard, because the original music by Koji Kondo is such an iconic (and short) loop that nothing else feels remotely close to fitting the level! The requirements for this composition was that it had to be more than a minute long and could not be a cover of the original loop.

I tried to keep within the constraints of the original NES sound hardware for this composition with some creative liberties.
